A Flexitank is really no more than a bulk packaging system with a capacity ranging from 18m³ to 24m³. A Flexitank is only suitable for shipping non-hazardous liquids (wine, food or chemicals) from A to B.

To determine whether a Flexitank is suitable for the transportation of a product, a Material Safety Data Sheet, MSDS, is required. We are only able to make you a suitable offer after the manufacturer of the Flexitank, in consultation with us, has given official confirmation. In addition our consultations with you also include whether the Flex tank should be installed at a depot or at your location.

Our “Depot to Terminal Full Service”is unique.
This allows us to offer our customers with an appropriate total package.
This covers:
• Quality inspection of suitable containers;
• Installation of Flexitanks;
• Full transportation, with the proper equipment,
• full return of deposit to Terminal;
• Professional support during loading or unloading.


PROGECO HOLLAND BV has been a full member of the COA (Container Owners Association) Flexitank Working Group since its first meeting in Paris in 2007. Several stakeholders are members of that group: companies, producers, forwarders, insurers, fitting stations, etc. All these companies are connected in some way to Flexitank shipments. Their aim is to achieve the best possible professionalisation of the Flexitank product. For the sector and for the customer. To this end, a Handbook of Professional Procedures has been created, strict (delivery) terms & conditions have been set out and control mechanisms built in. All the associated parties must comply with these.

The COA shall ensure strict enforcement of this Handbook and will always try to avoid the industry being affected by unscrupulous companies.
